Towcester - Residents protest against 62,000 new houses

6th July 2009 - Residents protest at a meeting of the West Northamptonshire Joint Planning Unit where they unveiled their madcap plans to build 62,000 new houses around Northampton, Towcester and Daventry. They also declared that they didn't think they would get much up-front money from the Government to provide essential services such as proper roads, schools, medical centres, hospitals, emergency services and so on. The proposed expansion is more than twice the size of the whole of Daventry! Absolute madness! The plan threatens misery for everyone in Northamptonshire for the next 50 years.
