@letsgodudes You're not allowed to hit someone to the back of the head, but I don't think there are any rules against slamming the back of someone's head onto the mat, like Rampage did against Arona. As much as I love MMA, there are unfortunately some pretty dangerous aspects to MMA.

@TheJudoMMA oh wow thats it? I really think they should add more to that rule to involve more moves, and blows to the back of the head because of the recent case of a paralysed fighter..safety is no joke :(

@letsgodudes Basically what you can see Bob Sapp do against Nogueira in volume 1. But that was in Japan. They had different rules back then. Don't know if they have changed the rules now in Japan.

@letsgodudes I'm no expert on the rules. But I think you're just not allowed to spike someone head first straight down into the mat, what they call a pile driver.

@TheJudoMMA i thought u weren't allowed to drop someone on their head in the unified rules

@SkemeKOS Yeah he should have let go :) I remember Machida did a good avoiding getting slammed against Rampage. I don't remember the exact circumstances, but he let go before Rampage could slam him :)

@TheJudoMMA
Well yeah, definitely scary too. But the guy shouldve let go of the armbar. Theres a reason why we are taught to let go. Hope he was OK afterwards.
