Since when does a sign need to be posted on a cat telling people it is a cat? And why does THE OBVIOUS need to be stated about English being the official language that our country was founded upon? Was the Declaration of Independence, or the Constitution, or the Bill of Rights written in Spanish?

The more of pgomex's comments I read, the more apparent it becomes that he sees "down" as "up."

Like how he ludicrously said that people like myself who want a unified America are tearing it apart. When it's those who have no respect for our country's laws and language who are Balkanizing it gradually.

By definition, an immigrant is a person who comes to a country where they were not born in order to settle. If u need more assistance with the English language u seem to 'know' & love, be sure to let me know. :)~

Your country isn't only yours, it is my home as well. That's the problem with you antis, you see everything that you don't agree with as unpatriotic or anti-American. Aside from UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRATION, majority of IMMIGRANTS coming in here do speak SPANISH. Not only from Mexico which is the only country YOU PEOPLE seem to focus on.

The words were spoken in English bc they had no respect for the natives, actually. Those same founders were IMMIGRANTS.
