A77 is actually 1,5 shot faster then AK47 but that's not strong enough reason for change., especially if you live in Somalia..

Like it or not, it really depends on what's your need. The only down side is the low light performance, very good, but only not as good as it's competition. But as a long time Minolta user, there isn't another group of lens that makes me want to switch to another system. minolta lenses are awesome! Add a couple Carl Zeiss glasses to my collection, then I'm in heaven:)

I guess i'll have to wait till the new 7d arrives, however Im looking @ nikon d800..hmmm..

@all73n The 7D only has low light benefits and is 2 years old, which will most likely fixed with firmware updates on the A77 which has only just begun to show what it can do. Sorry, but in this category, the A77 reigns supreme. Show me what the next 7D looks like then we can compare

92 lenses are more than enough.. besides im not affordable to buy all those, no one does. and it has some great lenses for extreme photographers. lot of ppl say canon has 162 lenses available in the market is rather moronic. so stop bleating canon fancy boys,

The only fatal flaw about this camera is that they've only had Canon and Nikon users review it. Every time I see someone hold the camera up to their eye and complain that the LCD doesn't change quick enough to the EVF, I laugh out loud. There is a button to switch – much faster, much easier. Also I think 12fps in RAW is a pretty good trade-off for poor ISO performance lol.

I use Canon 5D2 and 7D for work but recently bought a Sony A65 for personal use, I would say video quality is still better on the 5D2 due to full frame and shallow DOF but for the price point its amazing; better than the 7D overall (then again 7D is a 2 year old camera). No need for a Z-finder with the EVF. This is my first Sony camera and I am impressed, I think Sony should deserve more respect when it comes to professional market, after all they did inherit the great Minolta heritage.
