@ladreus yes even the jackson 5 and even better than the fuckin beatles,in my opinion they were and are the most unique artists i've ever heard....Not a day goes by where i dont listen to the Wu or Wu member at some stage!

True there def were some but i think he meant in the mainstream at the time. I think at the time most people wanted to go with what was hot, which was that Westcoast gangsta shit with smooth funk beats (which i love too!). Wu however went on and did their own thing and were still able to make an impact and have a huge following which is an accomplishment. As much as i love Biggie even he kinda copied that Westcoast sound at the time.
