Moderator David Kronke (Media Critic) asks Breaking Bad's Creator and Executive Producer Vince Gilligan who he was going to kill off in Season 1, Episode 9, which never happened because of the writer's strike.

The answer: Aaron Paul's character Jesse Pinkman. Once they started shooting, Gilligan realized how talented the actor was, and he decided not to kill the character off. The idea was for Jesse to get killed in a drug deal gone wrong, making Walt feel extremely guilty.
