The last time I visited Manila was Dec 2006 to spend Christmas and New Year's Eve. Been living in the East Coast for years....and still not getting used to the bone chilling winters. Will return to Manila in 2010. Good posts. (Cris...NJ)

Yes. The Philippines is just passed the International dateline, so it's at least 12-13 hours ahead of any place of the 48 in the USA.
