@CSA893 Kobe? Everything Kobe does Jordan did better! MUCH BETTER. Jordan is BY FAR the best because his mental game was head and shoulders better then anyone else (as was the rest of his game). The guy was the definition of clutch. He shot over 50% in game winning situations compared to Kobes very low 22%. The top players of today are scoring just as much as the top players of the 80s (except for Jordan). So i dont see what you are trying to say.

@ben1ben2ben1 it was more physical but I you can't say it is harder. Basically the game has evolved into a more European type playing style of shooting the ball from the perimeter. They also introduced the zone defense that was never implemented before, which is a very strong type of defense meant to shut down a superstar on one team. I think MJ is the best player ever but not BY FAR. Jerry West, Magic, Kobe, and Kareem are all great players.

@dwarfdude I would bet good money that there were probably 20 times LESS players even trying to get into the NBA back in the 60s. Just look at some old tapes, the players of the Wilt/Bill era would get crushed by most collage teams today

@0083cc Because of the rules (hand checking and less fouls) the Jordan era was the toughest in NBA history! Just one more reason why Jordan is the greatest player ever BY FAR!
