absolutly wonderfull videos, I myslef enjoy to paint, ive been goofing with it for 10 years or so, and one thing Ive noticed is that a lot of artists are cookie cutter copies of someone else, or of another style, this guy has taken something from nature, clouds, and incorporates them into his paintings, not just plain clouds, but he makes them the focal point of the paintings, I find my eye drawn to the clouds, facinated with the depth and reality of them.......great work keep it up

Thanks for sharing. I have a hard time with clouds and this helped me.

@gagnonstudio I'm impressed - this seems like an incredibly fast time to complete a painting like this! - Nice work.

@Topazzzzy I believe the tree served some compositional purpose as an anchor and gave it some more depth.. I may be wrong but hey :P

Darn, I wish watercolors could do that.
And I wish I were good with acrylics, but ho hum.
Marry me? :D
I love the clouds in your paintings, I noticed your cat creep in behind the painting what is his/her name?

we think you shouldnt cover up the clouds with the tree. It looked great when the tree was bare too.
How long in actual time does this take you?
Are you working out of your imagination?
But it was really good to watch this come into being

I just paint as I go along, making things up, so sometimes I end up covering up things that I just painted a lot of detail in. It's a bad habit :). It takes about 2 to 2.5 hours to paint a painting like this one.
