Video of what's to come in the upcoming deer and elk hunting season up on Big Mountain in 2010. Here's some video of some Mule Deer and Bull Elk fattening up for the colder months ahead. Above average wet spring will bring great antler growth across the Utah mountains. Hunts still available for the fall season. I usually start scouting hard the end of June. I try and go at least once a week with a few over night trips before the hunt. The best times to see these summer time velvet bucks is at first light and just before dark. It also depends on the weather. Sometimes after a good storm you start seeing some animals come out.
