  • We need Jesus, no doubt...brother

  • @stopcommunistmedia The Bible says "our way of salvation is made available through the Jews." -John 4:22 Anyhow, we are just Jews who know the Messiah has come. Jesus was Jewish. Judaism and Christianity are connected, not separate. This is where our concept of "religion" screws us up. Also, following Christ should just be a fact of life, not an institution that gives us a weekly "holy stamp". I think that's what he's trying to get at. Please don't yell at me.

  • I don't need Jesus, there's nothing wrong with the gardener I currently have!

  • @stopcommunistmedia You are true - we are getting in to the Doctrine of the Invisible church. Some Catholics like some protestants can be works based religions and are therefore no different from mormons riding bycycles or muslims flying planes into buildings - the extreme form of works based religion.

  • @Thechristiancullen

How are Catholic's in the same league as Mormons? or Muslims? I disagree with a-lot of Catholic beliefs but we Christians historically have had a-lot of our beliefs come from the Catholics. Any Church that worships Jesus Christ and accepts him as their lord and savior is good in my books. Many Catholics are saved.....

  • You're equating a different religion which Saul followed Judaism, with Christianity which is what the followers of Christ believed. Its important to be born again(saved) and have a relationship with Jesus Christ THAT'S BASIC. I still don't understand what do you mean we don't need "religion"?: No assembly of believers?, No communion?, No praise and worship?, No Miracles?, Lets ban Churches or Charities? I don't understand these new trends and statements in churches today. Maybe i misunderstand.

  • 2 timothy 3:16 says ALL scripture is God-breathed.

which means all scripture is inspired by God. Gods so powerful im sure he can keep His word

  • @Thechristiancullen i don't see how that's relevant to biblical doctrines and teachings? and i never said don't listen to marks teachings because he is gay, or a nut.

  • @scrap222666 However just because a historical writer is a convisted of a crime does not neccessarily make his writings invalid. In otherwords just because Michael Jackson may have been a Peadophile does not mean that his music is wrong.

  • @Thechristiancullen I think we reached an end to this mini discussion. I am actually quite happy that you reached the conclusion the bible was written by sinful thoughts and sinful men and it isn't at all 100% godly and perfect as mans sin just big being some part of it contaminated it from perfection.
