does people not realize everyone manipulates nowadays to survive? that to get what we want we have to be stronger than the other people. thats how the world works. in everything we see and hear. so for someone to say "o manipulators are bad and we cant be taken advantage of anymore." are really saying. help me i dont know how to do it myself and everyone gets me. someone teach me. its about being better than someone else to get the job or to get that position of power. all manipulators. \

@Escrima88 life can very often be a chess game where we try to force our opponent's next move. But if we choose to see the world as a chess game then we run the risk of misjudging the true characters of others who are led by other things besides hidden agendas. Nonetheless, I feel where you're coming from.

@flauwegeit I hear you... but understand that the point isn't to detail everything but to point viewers in the direction where they can get more information if they feel so inclined. If you really want to know more, I suggest reading the book mentioned in the episode.

As for the way I talk, I'm from NJ... and try as I might to hide my accent, it comes out from time to time so I like to have fun with it. Just a byproduct of urban living I guess.

This just happened to me. Not for long though. I was wise to him. We'd only been talking for 2 wks. and he said I look stunning in all my photos but this one that I had up was "too posy" and I look "hookerish" I called him on it. He didn't remember *Eye roll* He acted horrified that I didnt trust him and said he couldn't believe I would think that way about him. Highly suspect. Kicked him to the curb.

i found out a while back that i have Schizotypal Personality Disorder. (personality disorder that is characterized by a need for social isolation, anxiety in social situations, odd behavior and thinking, and often unconventional beliefs.) i basically just want to be by myself playing games at home all the time :P

This video actually really made sense to me. I guess people who aren't in relationships with masters of emotional manipulation don't understand, but I do. I actually married one. My husband is the most skilled manipulator I know. He has actually used every tactic mentioned in this video so subtly that I never really knew he was doing it. He is a charmer to the max, and even my friends and family bought into his manipulation.
