"I committed an enormous mistake. And in final analysis what was my great error in politics? When I look back I have but one feeling, an immense regret...I regret that we didn't succeed. When we look to our own nation and we see the collapse of the social order; decline of patriotism, of the family unit, of social order. When we see the apathy of consumerism that has replaced the great flame of the ideal which had stirred us well then, between both these (~outcomes) I am sure we chose the right side. This pitiful little Europe of today with its common markets. This cant provide men with happiness. Consumerist society rots away at a mans soul rather than aggrandize it.

But we, we dared to dream of something grandiose. And I have but one desire and it is for that great spirit to be reborn. I will fight to the last moment of my life with all my strength that this ideal, which was our struggle and our martyrdom, will (come to pass?)"

Je ne me lasse jamais de ton discours! Les faits que tu evoques ne sont plus exactement les memes. Aujourd'hui nous faisons face a une grande Europe miserable. Et qui, de mon point de vue ne cesse d'empirer, a chaque joue que Dieu fait. La flamme qui t'anime, aujourd'hui brule dans mon coeur. Ton combat est le mien. Repose en paix Leon.
