  • An absolute favorite of mine! This Poirot film was perfect in every way down to the acting, the music, the cinematography, and of course the film being faithful to the book. At this point in the Poirot series it has changed alot and is different from the episodes with Hastings, Japp and Lemon but I have to say though this episode marks that change the quality of the series at that point didn't decline like it has now. After this episode and 3 others in this season the series went downhill.

  • Such a heartbreaking episode. I enjoyed this just as much as the book, the story is utterly tragic. The episodes in this series have so much depth to them. Thanks for posting.

  • Magnificent story, characters and acting, I am so in love with Poirot's personality - in many ways- one of a kind :-)

  • @MusicLoverBrian1 i also have to agree this story is so tragic but it is so well acted and written in a true agatha christie way i read the book and i think the film give the book the just and satisfaction it deserves

  • Definitely one of the best poirot episodes.

  • @Vend1cator91 BELGIUM!

  • @Vend1cator91 Monsieur Poirot is Belgian. Great Detective. One of my favorites out of Ms. Christie's repetoire.

  • poirot is english or french ?

  • Even though Hercule is older and the dynamics of his relationship with Chief Inspector Japp, Hastings and Ms Lemon are missing, this is one of my favorites also, MusicLoverBrian1.

  • @Archimond789 it's "alice blue gown" from Tierney &McCarthy Musical "Irene" from 1919
