Our third day behind the wheel of our trip across America. Nick and I have both logged our share of hours behind the helm toward our California destination. The end of Day Two found us at a Super 8 hotel in Elk City, Oklahoma. Point, click and sit back to see where our travels take us next...

If you just stopped in, here is a link to the previous day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvICaLjC0yU

  • Love this road trip.Have watched all four twice already one dayMy Wife and I will come over from New Zealand and do a road trip around the whole country.Have been to Americia in 2000 and traveled from LA and Sandiego by car and loved it even if it was a little scary on the freeway driving in what we would call the passengers seat (NZ) even more scary for my Wife who had the drivers seat with no steering wheel(NZ) LOL.Also flew to Sanfranisco from LA..

    Disneyland was cool.

  • Thanks 73...I can't recommend doing this trip enough, you and your wife will really like it.

I did a solo trip to Disneyland on Day 5 and I liked it as well. I've been editing some wedding videos so I've haven't been able to complete Day 5 but I should soon.

Hope all is well with you in New Zealand.

  • Guess you guys didnt stop at the Meteor Crater just past Winslow, AZ going west towards Flagstaff...that was def a sight to see on a road trip

  • We wanted to see some cool rock formations in AZ but from the visitor's center said it was far from Route 40.

Defintely would have like to see both of those landmarks. They sound pretty cool.

  • I loved it Tee. Absolutely beautiful scenery! My only disappointment was that you didn't wear any Redskin's gear driving through Texas. :) Great job man!

  • Coincidentally, Nick will take up the slack in the Skins department. He'll have a Portis jersey on for Day 4.

Thanks for checking it out, 53.

  • haha diggin the SOJA shirt... travelling across the US is awesome i do it every summer i havent gottan to hawaii or alaska yet

  • Orite lads, me and my best mate (both 25 years old) start our trip in 4 weeks time, starting in L.A driving > New Orleans then flying to NYC. Was their anywhere in Oklahoma, Albuquerque, Armarillo, Memphis ect (Or anywhere along that route at all) that you would of liked to stay longer? Also how much was your standard Super 8 on the way? I Also take it Armarillo's not worth staying too long then?

Cheers man. Your vids are quality!!!

  • Looks quality lads, im doing a similar roadtrip in 3 weeks time. Im from the U.K so gunna be weird driving on the wrong side of the road
