This cheaply-made animated adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs's first Tarzan novel, "Tarzan of the Apes", was made quickly in 1999 by Golden Films as part of their "Enchanted Tales" series because the Disney animated Tarzan was in production. Golden Films, a company run by Diane Eskanazi, produces cheap animated versions of classic tales, many of which have made popular by the Disney studios.

My sisters and I watched this all the time when it was on Xfinity; it's just so gosh-darn awful. I swear we found new things to poke fun of everytime we saw it.
