@hinterwelter Wow. Making an awesome connection between Miles (one of my favorites) and The Jesus Lizard (also one of my favorites) with, in my humble opinion, one of the Lizards best songs! Hats of to you for that. I hear it!!

Absolutely beautiful and timeless.

In Miles' own words, all those critics who busted his balls for 'turning his back on jazz' and going electric, well they couldn't understand this stuff because they're a bunch of '"pitiful motherfuckers". On the money Miles, as usual.

Man i love The Jesus Lizard but this really stands on its own, i dont know much about Miles other then the fact that Mclaughlin played with his at one point, in fact this is my first real listen. Im very VERY impressed though, i think i was expecting more typical jazz then this, this is incredible though i dont even know what to say

what amazes me is that I've read more than one book on Miles where the authors called these sessions a failure. they are out of their minds. This is the very first recording I ever heard by Miles. Today I own around 90 CDs of Miles Davis music. If the sessions were a failure, why does Big Fun continue to sell... and it is EXPENSIVE too!
