  • kiisaka, once Roland Dyens told Aniello Desiderio : "Only you can play this way my music, others must performe it the way I say"...I believe this can apply to Mr Andaloro too. Andaloro is not a piano student, he is an artist (not a pianist).

He uses the piano to let his art come out. Piano is only a mean, he could make music even with an empty can, y'know what I mean?

  • These discussions are completely useless. Personal attacks and violent responeses are disrespectful of music and art.

Kiisaka, the hall had not the best of acoustic, but in my personal opinion the performance of Andaloro was full of music. That's the reason why I wanted to share it with everyone on youtube.

  • Oh my God.

    Why?

What kind of horrible thing Kapustin did to deserve such terrible punishment?

Why this young sloppy pianist is killing his music?

Is this some sort of revenge?

What an evil creature, this Andaloro.

A monster, The Final Scourge for all Jazz music.

  • I applaud the pianist, well done! Yes, there's too much reverberation from too much pedal in a very sonorous hall, that's unfortunate. Apart from that, it's only a very fast tempo, and to me it's interesting. The music is hard to grasp in this setting, in a different room this would be highly enjoyable. As it is, it's still worth sharing.

  • Not messy, but still sounds messy?

  • This is not an artist. Artists have ears.

  • This sounds way too harsh.

  • what is this ?

  • andaloro, you are an assmunching dick cheese fuckstick...you give me an excuse to amuse myself critiquing your trash piano playing

  • andaloro can probably play everything at any speed, nevertheless... who cares. yes, he won an international piano competition, yes, he plays ligeti etudes by heart,...

no, concert etudes are not generally played afap. every pianist, working on kapustin's compositions, knows very well about the technical/player attitude. once you get the feeling, you can just play and want to speed up, just keep the musical aspects in your mind.
