@BostonGal2004  Nicholas had been to visit Margaret and her father after Bessie death. He talked about the union and his daughter and then left. Margaret was seeing him off as John was walking that way.

Excellent video, you've captured every glance, every brooding, longing look, every backward glance that gorgeous Richard Armitage made in the whole six hours of North and South. No-one could play this part better, he has the best pair of 'come to bed eyes' I have ever seen in any period drama, and I have seen many in my 63 years. WELL DONE you - fabulous compilation!

OMG>>>something is definitely wrong with me. I just keep watching this scene over and over again. It is breathtaking. Does anyone know of anything else like this so I can stop wathcing this and watch another. Of course don't say Pride and prejudice. That is how I got hooked on this. I love JOHN Thorton
