On Sunday, Aug. 29th the http://libertyontour.com crew, joined by many Denver-area lovers of liberty, did outreach at Invesco Field to tailgaters prior to a Broncos-Steelers game. It was going well - folks were really receptive - then some strangers with badges arrived...

  • "which people are those?"

this is the situation right here: Everybody was having fun and these guys are sharing merriness with citizens and the government tries to crack down on it because they are not regulating it

  • I live ten minutes form the stadium

I love people in Colorado. They really are so receptive to the guys. Not surprising at all

  • Most cops are borderline retarded.

  • Alcohol is controlled by regulated bodies.(commercial activity) read the laws and you will see it only applies to those subject under the law. Such as beer stores wineries, manufacturers, distributors. If your not under a licence under the act then your not subject to the fines or the act itself.. READ THE LAWS then do this so you have a fighting chance.

  • Well its no coincidence that you guys got arrested. Alcohol is controlled because of its destructive properties. Too many people die from alcoholism etc so its not surprising you cant distribute it in public. Nobody gives a shit if you do that at home but something tells me you wouldnt. If i came over to your house for some free beer you would tell me to fuck off.

  • If you are giving away an alcohol beverage and have a sign in the public advertising this and do not have a permit to sell or trade them you are going to be arrested.

  • @Bruce1949919 You're saying that I need a distribution license in order to be able to give beer away? How does that make sense? So you're saying if I'm having a BBQ at a park and I toss a buddy a beer that I should be arrested because I don't have a distribution license? They were asked to take the sign down, which they complied with. They was no suspicion or evidence of a crime.

  • @1775novten If you have no license you can't do anything with it but consume it. Without the sign they had a better chance.

  • @normanmj Yes they were. It's a day they had a big sale. IDIOTS YOU ALL ARE.

  • @rednek555 Yes: They didn't have a license to give anything to stranger. And that means whether they sold it or gave it. No recourse by anyone. This has become a dead horse. Stop beating it. You will never win the argument.
