Some heterodox priests and unfaithful Catholics are using name calling and deception to undermine faithful Catholics, here is one such example.

Anyone with conservative religious views ends up being called "Taliban." Christians, Muslims (obviously), maybe relgious Jews are exempt from this description, but that has to be the exception.
Remember, Christ said that "All men will hate you because of me..." This abuse is part of being a Christian. (Yeah, as human beings it makes up angry, but it is as was foretold.) And no, I'm not RC, but I have sympathy for the abuse they recieve.

The Taliban may be lacking in many ways, but they at least have one thing the heterodox Catholics in the establishment don't: a spine.

I was called a "terrorist" for posting pro-life videos on my Facebook page! I couldn't believe that, I mean how am I a terrorist for defending human life? Isn't that an oxymoron?

@neoinarien Other than the one you just used? CINOs is popular - because they are Catholics In Name Only, lacking most if not all of the distinguishing qualities of a Catholic except formal membership and the name (they deny doctrines, promote sins, unrepentantly perform sinful acts etc.)

I say we co-opt the term and own it. Put it on a bumper sticker, "Proud Taliban Catholic".

@elcamaras Yes, because that would just be LOVELY to those people who are fighting the Taliban and getting arms and legs blown off by IEDs, and SO respectful to the pro-life movement which repudiates any sort of violence. Being called a radical or fundamentalist is fine - we are those things - but not Taliban.
