  • That's called the LAF system, The aim of the Load Alleviation Function (LAF) is to alleviate the fatigue and static loads on the wings by reduction of the wing bending

    moment.

  • I was wondering about this aileron system a well..it is beautiful in action. It seems like how a bird tapers it's outer feathers to stabilize itself and for making turns...I'm sure it also helps to prevent wing twist... nice video
