  • Can you remember the loading time on this machine , jesus, I used make a sandwich and a drink and turn the sound down before it started the game. I was given one by a friend of family back in the early ninties and played this game among others but when I moved, my parents left it. I had about 2 or 3 shoe boxes full of cassette games. If only I had it now, I'd sell it on Ebay lol.

  • Yeah! Used to start a game loading and make a bacon roll and a cup of tea then go back upstairs and the game was ready to play. Most speccy games are worthless apart from Ultimate games and stuff like Elite.

  • I had this with lightgun it was great, also a very long time ago

  • I can imagine it's a lot easier with a lightgun. Just stick the nozzle on the screen a shoot. Just make sure you don't hit Jim Bowen...then again, do!

  • This looks particularly poor even for a 20+ year old game. Does not even follow the correct format of the TV show and sports basic spelling errors!

Hang your head in shame Macsen.

  • It's as bad as the first series of the original show. Surely someone from the tv company must have gone along to check this out. They probably sent Jim Bowen aka 'the Prick'. 'What do you think of it Jim, "super, smashing, great"! He didn't know what he was doing on the tv show.

Macsen managed to mess up Blockbusters as well by not having the gold run on the original game. Or a ploy to make more money by releasing Gold Run seperately?

  • haha yeeeah! i remember that! i had a commodor 64 - and it was the same, put the tape in, load, wait 10-15mins whilst the screen went all fuzzy - make a brew and sarny, come back, play, get bored after 5mins lol :p - i was only about 10! then do it all again!

used to spent ma whole sunday day doin that!

  • Super, dreadful, tragic. An abomination of a game. How could this get passed a games company and how did Jim Bowen ever get a job in television? All the best and the worst and the inbetween will continue. Cheers mate!

  • I don't think the programmer ever watch Bullseye. What happened to playing as a couple? And the bit at the end with FOUR! darts and no prize. I hit 240 at the end. What does it want - 241!

I rember On the Oche, well the name. The first darts game I played would be Eric Bristol's Darts.

  • You can't beat a bit of bully !! Any chance of playing On The Oche? That was one of the first games I had and it was actually rather good. If you liked darts anyway...
