Simple message and very sweet tune. Perfect pop music. The chord at 1.18 is a dream. Great harmonies and a key change too - everything I like.

..youre pretty knowledgable about the group-! I agree with you on that last statement..the final singles showcase Ms McCoo s vocals (everyone else becomes "ghost " vocals).. I meet ms C on the set of" Solid Gold " (the music show ) back in 1983, and she was a nice woman..what do you consider their best single ? Album?

Cool! Their 1st 2 albums were heavily influenced by Jim Webb, then they went through a Laura Nyro phase. The beginning of the end, ironically, was when it became too much about Marilyn McCoo. (No offense MM, your voice is gorgeous.) But they're at their best when all five share the microphone.
