some of the rural locations were filmed near my home town my friend from school and i (we were 14/15 years old) at the time used to see if we could spot the filming.working at my first job in bhs(slough) age 16,'bodie and doyle' walked through the store with pretty girlfriends on their arm.we all stared in amazement wish i had got an autograph.that was 32 years ago.

@justforthebox eeew, ut just ate my comment, so here it is again.
Thanks a lot for your comment, mate!
Fortunately the locations didn't changed that much (to the ones I went anyway).
If you like to see more locations drop me a line at sunshine4537 at freenet dot de and I can show you the way ;)
Thanks again for watching!

I have watched all 3 parts and loved it. Congratulations and this is a credit to your work. It couldn't have been easy because things have changed so much in places. I have the DVD box set of every show made and I have always wondered what those places look like nowadays. Thank you.
Superb! Thanks for this.

Yes this is absolutely incredible...you are a certainly a very smart detective! One thing I noticed, most of the locations (especially the cemetery!) haven't changed a scerik!! But thats London...Im from Melbourne, things are a bit different over here in Australia!
I loved this show in the early 80's every Saturday night at 8:30...Used to watch it religiously and then talk about it at school the following Monday...it was the show to watch in Grade 9 I tell ya!! still in luv with the Capri too!

@cam68 It's very astounding that so little has changed in about 30 years! Even in my hometown are more changes than in London, lol.
Thank you for taking your time to comment!

Wow, you've done an amazing lot of detective work. I commend your patience and time to get this done. I've attempted to do this myself with a few of my favourite shows.

@sonofherne Thanks for your comment, dunno what it is with youtube, but I just received notifications :sigh:
Well, to the location tour, go on and do one yourself. I'm sure whatever fandom you choose it will be fun! And believe me, it is addictive ;)
