Over the years I still find amazingly difficult just to understand Noto; he is so fast and precise sheathing the katana...and that's just the start of the technique.

your ego tells you that you have just mastered the shoden level. your ego tells you that you don't need formal training. a good sensei does'nt cater to your ego. big egos & empty technique not a bujin make, my friend.

I practice this purely as a Zen discipline. I am not stating I am better or worse than anyone. Your ego will do you no good in life my friend.

The video is beautiful. You guys are losers.

I hold very little formal training with a sensei, however i feel I have just mastered the shoden level. I would say that my favorite of these katas would have to be Itomagoi. That specific kata is one I have never seen. He is so fast!

That's correct. Nagae Matasaburo Sensei held nanadan (7th Degree) in Kendo, and Hachidan (8th Degree) in Iaido, both being recognized by the Zen Nippon Kendo Renmei.

Don't confuse shoden level noto with okuden level noto. The intent at that level is different.
May I ask what grade you hold in MSR to be criticizing this sensei?
