Joel, you have helped me through so much. I may not have been into GC for long, but I already know that you guys are the best people in the world. GC is the first band I've ever listened to that actually has helpful music out there. I felt so lonely until I started listening to GC. "Hold On" and "March On" and things like that helped me through everything. I honestly cried when I saw this video because I'm so happy that there;s someone out there who cares. You are a true hero, Joel. Thank you.<3

Back when I was about 14 or 15, your music inspired me to be strong, to reach out, get help and carry on living. Since then life hasn't always been easy but I have no regrets. The hard times just made me who I am today. And I love myself.

Joel, you've been inspiring me since i was 13. Your music helped me a lot though difficult times. I'm all grown up now and I've gotten over most of my family problems but I'm facing the fact that I'm a trans guy and I cried watching this video as I did when I fist listened to "Hold On" as a kid. Thank you Joel. You're a hero.
