Not stupid, surely. Maybe a bit unlearned in certain areas. Which reminds me...there was a time when, if a person had positioned himself upon the 'commode', he was said to be sitting on the 'throne'. Somehow. I doubt those Chinese toilets were ever referenced as a 'throne'.

I have seen '2 seater' outhouses, but no 2 seater squat toilets (thank goodness).
