@laggteacher could have a leak in the map. ive seen other maps where people avoided that by making a huge box around the entire level.

dude this isn't for dummies, YOUR'E the dummy. I think i know LESS from that video. that wasted time of my life watching you fuck up on a video trying to explain a program YOU don't even know how to use, sigh. maybe learn a LITTLE more before you get excited and post ANYTHING on youtube. Alright well here is your problem. You came to this video already knowing things about Source SDK right? Well this guide is for people who don't know anything about Source SDK. So before you get all excited and going and posting everything you know on YouTube, maybe think a LITTLE more.

probly a stupid question but i cant find the answer anywhere how the hell do i change the colour of things? not the texture the colour of the texture btw

Not stupid at all. What you do it select the object, then go into the textures menu and select the texture you want for that item. I believe the textures menu it on the right hand side by default.
