  • hi Jak,

It is live rock. I have a 55 gallon sump that contains live rock to filter off things like ammonia and such. There is also a euro reef skimmer, uv sterilizer, and a couple of filter pads to screen off the larger debris.

  • Hey dude

The tank is awesome. How big is that yellow tang, and sailfin? they look gigantic? I use to have a tank with 9 triggerfish? I had to sell everything and start over now 10 yrs later. Just got a 150 gallon and have 3 triggerfish. Wanting to add 5 different tangs, one large angel and a flame. How often do you do water changes as I see you have 4 or 5 large angels and other large tangs? Very nice tank. You can email me at jakanala@aol.com

  • @jakanala01 Hi Jak, the yellow tang is about 5.5 inches including tail and the sailfin is about 7 in including the tail. With a 150, I would only add small tangs like powder blue tangs, yellow tangs, or purple tangs because as you see here my tangs are getting too big for my tank. I change 30 gallons of water every 3 - 4 weeks now. Check out my other account for more updated videos. Just search 180saltwater. That tank is more crowded though, but i got rid of some fish there.

  • @bigeslozr

is a sailfin a Large tang? i have one but i dunno how big it'll grow, its in my 55gallon FOWLR and i like it, even though its not as colourful as other tangs

  • @shuwukong Hi shu, the sailfin tang will grow considerably large. I have seen many over 10 inches. They grow relatively slowly, but be ready to make room for it.

  • thanks nwyk! Do you have a saltwater tank yourself?
