Your comment is filled with fallacies, but I'll address one: Most black voters were no longer Republican after the 1960s. In fact, the NAACP had left in the 1912 election, when W.E.B Dubois supported Woodrow Wilson, a democrat. Ironically, Wilson is perhaps the most racist President of all time.

The actual turning point in the 1992 campaign was the debates, where George H.W. Bush looked old and out of touch while Clinton look vitalized and charged. The Sax thing was an after-thought.

Actually, this appearance during his campaign helped his poll numbers among black and white voters alike almost immediately after it aired. It showed the black voters that he was in-tuned to a facet of their culture (jazz) thereby making him a more accessible Democrat (until the early-1980s most black voters were still Republican, out of respect for Lincoln) and to all voters that he was down-to-earth, common.

No, but he was kind of a fat whore. And the economy, which turned around in Bush 1's last 6 months, stayed good all thru the Clinton years.

I wish though, that Clinton had been more vigilant on terrorism...Mohammed Atta and all the hijackers came here on his watch and were training on our own planes for the attack on his watch.

When Bush was sworn in, the hijackers had already entered the US.
