Be nice to them (or they'll threaten you).
Why without cops, who would harass our citizens, kill old ladies, plant drugs, arrest people who've never hurt anyone, and just terrorize our citizens. Their job is too important to bother with obeying the law.
You know, I really think if we got rid of the ridiculous laws we have (victimless crimes), and let cops focus on theives, murderers and rapists, they wouldn't be half as tyrannical as they are now.

Cops are bad people. Its really that simple. Compared to other professions, they have the highest rate of domestic violence, divorce, alcoholism, & abusive behavior. That is NOT because their job is hard. Giving out traffic tickets @ road blocks, for seat belt violations is not hard. If things ever get out of control, call the entire force as backup, & kill an innocent person. really not hard. They are just rotton people.

I disagree. There are good and bad in every aspect of human nature. There are those officers, who have a desire to make a real difference and those who have a "I am above the law" I am sworn to uphold. Just as there are good doctors and those who abuse drugs.

well if you filed a complaint when it was going on and nothing happened then sorry but if i had to work in dc then id probably drink on duty dealing with that environment

I called to get the party stopped for 2 nights. I even rented a hotel room across town to escape the crap that was going on. DC MPD ignored the calls, and that is unacceptable. A formal complaint has been filed and it is under an Internal Affairs investigation, with the recorded calls as proof.

looks like they are off duty and having a party to me nothing major to me maybe riding a scooter in the roadway maybe a traffic violation at most, or open container wow get a life

Dude, they were breaking the law, and disturbing DC residents. We have over 50 pages of complaints filed for this year alone. Invite them to your place to keep you up all night, every night for the week they were here.
