@jaffijoe This may--may--all be true but I gotta say, I play guitar and when I saw the band last year there were a few sudden moments (of improvisation) when Dweezil had me staring at the fretboard of his guitar with a look on my face as if I'd just had an embolism. To my mind at least, he is that good.

@jaffijoe your comment is part fact and part bs. dweezil is a great musician. the probably never will be pisses me off. give the man credit. he is not the same person as his father. the talent requiired to read the tabs and pull off the timing in these pieces is nothing short of extrodinary. my opinion is your opinion should be different. america dude.

Dweezil worked pretty hard to learn his dad's music. He knows most of his dad's catalogue pretty intimately; he can play most of every instrument's part in just about any song. Of course, he isn't nearly as great as his father and probably never will be. But, I would rather that it be Dweezil carrying on his father's legacy (along with a lot of the original players) than some shitty cover band that just doesn't have the musical chops. Dweezil put together a top -notch band.

Does Dweezil have a son yet? Hope he has as we need another generation of Zappa to delve into the private Zappa "vault" to keep the music coming forever. RIP Zappa.
