We know how each religion treats thier women, just watch the news

Isn't it amazing how easily people are led to believe such false assertions when things are taken completely out of context, or from sources outside the bible all together, and then presented with the sole intent of leading others to agree with what the presenter's opinion. Anyone can be told the bible is mysoginistic, and then simply google sexist verses and throw them all together into this horrible misrepresentation of the bible. Please, people, read the bible for yourself and you'll see.

@rosegarden56 Show proof that ecclesisticus was not ommitted.

Women are considerably better treated in countries that are predominantly Christian than in countries that are mainly Islamic. Fact.

On 1:58 this is accurate. There is a difference between Ecclesiastes, which is part of the 66 books in the Bible and Ecclesisticus, which was never part of the Bible but added in by a man and his own ideas.

My brother, the old testament's verses are not the same anymore. That's why jesus said he came to fulfill the law.
it is true that the Bible stated those verses mentioned, but one MUST know the following:
1) by 'neighbor' means "another person," not just the woman.
2) Duet 22:28-29 is from the old testament; which contained at least 600 other rules and prophecies that seem 'absurd.' But JESUS comes to over-rule the writings of the old testament, which His teachings in the new testament.

oh really? did jesus not say in Mathew that "i have not come to do away with what the prophets have brought, i have not come end what God has already ordained to you".....did he not say that? the hypocrisy is just amazing portrayed by christians. you completely deny your own verse and simply pick and choose which ones you seem fit best

Interesting how little the practice of a faith depends on the bare words. So much of it is interpretation, learning, and critical thought. There will, of course, always be those who hide their malice behind words in a book. But then, as the other video shows, their malice will be born out regardless of what is actually written.
