B17 Flying Fortress attacked by Japanese Zero

Here is some footage of a mock attack of a Japanese Zero swooping down on the B-17 we captured while filming the CAF AIRSHO event in Texas. Both the B-17 and the Japanese Zero (replica) are both owned and operated by the Commemorative Air Force.

Gotta dislike this stupid game footage - particularly when you see it on the "related videos" listing and click, only to find you've been had! Who cares how well you can play a game???

@killmastermurder Yes, but I liked IL-2 better. The graphic and feel of the game is better. It has a good selection of German,British and Russina planes but it only has 1 US fighter which kind of sucked. i would have liked to see a P-47 or P-38 in the game.If you liked Blazing Angles yoiu will love IL-2

If this was fairdinks in WW2 the Zero would have attacked from about 2 oclock high! A rear approach on a gunship like the B-17 would have been totally insane. If the twelve or thirteen 50 calibers on the B-17 didn't hit the engine cowling or take out the prop they certainly would have killed the zero pilot...
