During this scene, the screen quickly cuts to a black background with Japanese writing. In the effort to make our localization as thorough as we can, I have cut those frames from the animation and replaced them with English frames.

Just a little progress report for you guys. A user by the name of christoph over at the Racketboy forums has emailed the guy that owns the company translating the game, and the guy emailed him back this message.

@drunkensailor112 I am not sure about how Shining Force 3 was done, but I know that the game files were edited to show the English over the Kanji.

Hey man, are these going into the Deltahead patch of the game or something? Regardless of your intentions with these subs, it's great work and very much appreciated! I picked up a copy of Segagaga not too long ago, and it makes a great collection piece, but to be able to fully enjoy the game without cumbersome FAQs would be amazing!

@OriginalName90 Yes, this is what the Deltahead patch will do. I am not the one doing it, I just found these videos on his blog site and posted them here for my friends over at Dreamcast-Talk to see how the translation looked in action.

I just wish he would hurry up lol, this is taking for ever man...

@BFKAnthony817 Huh, I must of missed the update that featured these little guys. Well very cool, thanks for uploading them. Do you think that he can fit such a patch over Segagaga? I'm sure the disc is already pretty full with so many cut-scenes and the like...
