It allows you to choose between which viewmodels are shown and which ones are not.

And that bind of mine, it only works if you bind those 2 options on 2 different buttons, so that you can manually swap between showing viewmodels on and off.

@nlMightyMe it doesnt work for me when i try the r_drawviewmodel 1; viewmodel_fov 82.5 it shows my all viewmodels as 82.5 after that i try that another one it doesnt show me any viewmodels so it hide all viewmodel melee viewmodel too._. if i only wanted hide primary and secondary weapons

@ZoukkiZoke I'm using a special program called Crosshairswitcher that allows you to set a different crosshair and viewmodel size for each weapon.

I also have mouse 3 binded for r_drawviewmodel 1; viewmodel_fov 82.5 , and mouse5 binded for r_drawviewmodel 0; viewmodel_fov 0.

As you can see at 0.27 i pressed mouse 3 to enable my viewmodel to be sure i was wearing my pipe launcher ;D
