This video follows Rodovia Antonio Machado Sant´Anna (SP-255), going South from Ribeirão Preto to Araraquara...
The view from this highway is very unique. Because the road is so straight and on higher ground, you can see many miles on all directions... Even in High Definition this video doesn't do justice to the real thing...
Too bad I couldn't scrap those bugs off my windshield before recording...

Amazing time-lapse video! Feels like flying close to the ground. From 0:35 we get the total remaining distance: "Araraquara 60," were you arrive at 9:59. That gives an *apparent* average velocity of 382 km/h. Moreover, the 1km stretch between the two toll signs, at 5:07 and 5:13 is *apparently* covered at an average speed of 514 km/h. Wow!

Nice Video, but you didn´t male mistake on 6:27, when you get behind the Vw Gol?? Seens like you didn´t brake... Almost touch the other Car!!!

its hard to see because the video is 8-10x the normal speed, but the driver of the VW Gol was answering his cell phone, then slowing down to a stop on the side of the road... notice how he is tailgating the truck and then all of a sudden the truck pulls ahead... that's how much he slowed down to about 40-50km/h when I get behind him... thanks for the comment!
