While driving from Ca to Va to see our grand kids--we stopped at a McDonalds for breakfast.Behind us was 3 people talking a strange language---Navajo.We got up,and looked at the people---the elder had a hat on-with the Marine logo,so I asked if he was a code talker,,,his reply was yes.All I could do was shake his hand and say thank you while I looked him in the eye.It was a honour for me to meet this man.My girl said thank you-placed a kiss on his cheek.

This was 4 years ago.
