Nothin' for nothin', but he should have won it in Winnipeg.

Scott Niedermayer is a prick for not giving it to Teemu first
-
@CaptainMazda It's because the Captain hoists it first and the the Alternate Captains, Rob and Pronger both were and Selanne wasn't that year. I thought it actually made everyone more excited and anxious for Selanne's turn to lift the cup.

@Jordan8789 nah, I was most excited to see Teemu finally hoist the cup, but I loved seeing Scotty pass it off to his brother. that's just a special moment for two brothers not to share. I even got a great picture of them both holding it as Scott passed it to Rob.

This is the first time I've cryed watching the stanley cup. Watching Selanne raise that cup was awesome. To bad Kariya and Grimson wheren't here

I wish Kariya was here :(

I can understand him giving the Cup to Rob first, nothing should be above brotherly love. But to let Rob give the Cup to Pronger before Teemu? That was a crime against humanity.

Nah, I respectfully disagree.
Scott primarily came over to Anaheim, and leaving so many memories and accomplishments in NJ, to play alongside his brother. He knew how hurt but happy Rob was for him when his Devils beat Rob and the Mighty Ducks in '03, so he made it a goal not to beat his brother again, but to win it with him. Very classy move,if you notice, Scott actually shortens his moment with the Cup because he immediately wanted his bro to hold it for the first time.
