Yea I was looking at evo 9s and couldnt find any good deals and I found my 05 STi for an awesome price so I took it.

Right, right... i totally agree! I had a pretty hard decision to make when i got the Evo (just got it almost 2 months ago). I would have ONLY went for an STI if i haven't gotten a good deal on this Evo.

Your obviously not bashing Subarus so your point is useless. Also, I agree the evo is a better car, better motor and handling. It has a shit trans but if its shep built your fine. I would have an Evo X right now if I could because they make massive power but what I'm saying is people bash on the STi saying its garbage. The truth is the STi is just harder to drive but people make all of their decisions off of top gear because they're fools.

i think u're way off buddy... look, don't matter what u drive... EVO or STI, those are NOT the cars they use in RALLY... What i'm trying to point here is that if Subaru is better then Mitsubishi on the rally team that don't mean nothing for the street cars, specially for the stock ones. I have an EVO 9 and it's stock except the exhaust but i'm never going to challenge not even a moded civic... i might not be a "racer" like many of these kids say they are. :)

Very nice, but im Subaru fan. Still, both cars are really amazing.

These cars have always been so close anyway that its usually a driver's race, until Subaru dropped the 07 STI which make devasting power with a few bolt ons and standard flash/ecu mod. I still love my IX tho
