this chorus met for the first time 8 hours before this concert, and had been singing with each other for only about 4 hours before the concert

  • this is absolutely amazing!!! is this an actual choir, or random guys from all over the US?

  • @pennie94 thanks! we all met that day, 8 hours before the show. Altogether we sang for about 4 hours as a chorus. We were expected to show up knowing our music. and not only are we from all over the US, we also have some canadians in there as well

  • @danwright32 that is so cool! so it's kinda like an honor choir or all state kind of thing? that's awesome!! So how did you guys hear about it?! did you have to audition for it?

  • @pennie94 yeah, we were expected to show up knowing our music and then they auditioned us when we got there. most people auditioned in octets, but I got there last and had to sing with a quartet >_<

  • @danwright32 but to get into the choir, did you just sign up and say hey i wanna be in this, or was it like you had a live audition, or did you have to send in a video?

  • @pennie94 yeah, it was pretty much anyone could sign up to audition I think

  • @colli1rc Actually more likely than not, they are kids who get off being a dick just to get a rise out of normal, secure people. ;)

  • @lightninglove231 Thank you! There are some great chorus like this in SoCal. The Masters of Harmony (Sante Fe) and the Westminster Chorus (Westminster). As for this chorus, it was an amazing experience being in it, and the audience made the experience twice as good. Getting Standing Ovations in Carnegie Hall a rush...It would take a lot to top that experience for me.

  • @MickDargan they just don't understand music. Or upset they couldn't be on stage.

  • I just don't get how anyone could "dislike" this. Did you accidentally stumble across this and decide it isn't your musical taste? If I accidentally ended up watching a heavy rock video and didn't like it, I'd leave. I certainly wouldn't try to show the world what a narrow mind I had.

  • I loved this song so much. I was right in the middle of the 5th row with alot of basses standing right behind me. And whenever they sang the low E-flat i felt it go through the floor alittle bit. God we could win a gold medal with this Chorus. :)

  • Dang.. should have been webcasted!
