Thanks u Ianga, I have anothers doutbs :D
If only have FEMAP, without another solvers, is possible make a mechanical simulation? Nastran comes with FEMAP available to simulate when this is installed? If u have an assembly in Solidworks, save as Parasolid format, FEMAP can to process and calculate with successfull results?
What solver get more reliability for u and why? Do u have in FEMAP any tools to control accuracy of simulation?
Thanks again!

Great video!!
u have enable diferents solvers, because are in the program (FEMAP) ?? or u have enable Nastran, Ansys, Abaqus, and so on , because these are pre-installed? is possible to use FEMAP with Solidworks or only is possible with Solidedge?
Thanks for you answers!

& About 2 & 3 questions:
Sure, parasolid is the best way, because it get the name of the parts, and assembly three, so usually you need to simplify geometry, but FEMAP has MANY tools to do it. and results are very accurate, you can see in NAFEMS many CAE BECH of NX NASTRAN and get an idea.

Hi
Sure, it depend of your NASTRAN package, basically, exist a basic bundle of NASTRAN to support all kind of mechanical simulation, like as linear statics, buckling, thermal basic, and others.
tell me what do you need, then I can advise to you.

Hello
FEMAP has a customized enviroment for each kind of solver, but you have to install that solver before.
FEMAP has a direct integration whit Solid Edge, Thats why are from same family "VELOCITY SERIES of SIEMENS PLM", Whit Other software you have to use a native format like as parasolid, step, iges. I prefer Parasolid, because is the kernel from Siemens.
