i`ve seen a foto of Jimi Hendrix playing a 1954 Les Paul Custom with the staple alnico pickup on neck and P-90 on bridge upside down.I don`t know if he just borrowed that or was sitting in but that foto is out there.by his outfit and hat i say it was around 1968..
