my thoughts on race are that C. Borel blew it big time he could not get Mine That Bird to relax. he made the move to soon, went to wide with him. I think he should have spent some time on the track with the horse before the race, instead of enjoying the sites of new Yorke.

  • yes I know

the biggest problem in day race in my opion is they are way to inbreed they need more new blood in field.

I like borel, but i think not cool how just and went on tv and did not bother get feel of the track like other jockeys said he should plus he jsut not get settled down, not blame him just made some mistakes is all

  • Charitable Man would been my 4th pick not bad looking horse thanks for watching

  • hi i don't like to second guess and i've been going to the belmont since 1971 and this is the worst belmont fieldi've seen .when BOREL made the move he was on the best horse and if he blew by to win by 10lengths like it looked no one would be saying anything but what a great ride he gave.like in the derby.the horse is a regular horse that got tired after 3 tough races in 5 weeks .these are not machines they can't be abused.go to the films of the 1970s and see great horses.those days are gone.

  • I thought it was going to be Charitable Man all the way!
