BattleTech - Sega Genesis - 1994

Battle Tech: A Game of Armored Combat is a video game released for the Sega Genesis in 1994. It was published by Extreme Entertainment Group and developed by Malibu Games. You take control of a Madcat mech robot and fight your way through several levels of mechanized war battles. Use machine guns, rocket launchers, homing missiles, flame throwers, mines and atomic bombs to defeat the encroaching enemy threat. The different levels have different terrains, such as snow, ice and swamps which affect the progress of your mech. You can also kill the smaller mechs by stomping on them which is always fun.

Hey narox how's it going? Another great video dude, this game looks really impressive, i mean the graphics alone look fantastic, but the gameplay looks really fluid too. The sound is a little hollow i think but then again the voices are pretty clear unlike a lot of genesis games. 5 star as usual good buddy!

Hello Carlo, the sound effects sounded a little hollow because I misjudged a slight tweak in the editing software that made it less treble. The game's sound effect actually has slightly more treble. Thanks for noticing and commenting so that I get better at judging for more accuracy next time.

The first part of the soundtrack reminds of being little and feeling the sting of defeat in my Timberwolf as a kid. But that pic of the MadDog in the barrens reminds me soooo much of my childhood, this was my game!

Yeah I last mine too, I did have two copies but the one I last was my lost copy.

Also the snow level effects are very nice. You actually see Mech prints in the snow.

Now this was the game to have back in the day on the Genesis! I had a copy of this game but last it 7 years ago. Had so much fun playing this...I NEED ANOTHER COPY!
