There are some really retarded discussions here. If you don't like U2, fuck, don't listen to them! They have been around for a very long time, they haven't always been a huge arena rock band. And comparing U2 to stuff like Skinny Puppy (respect) is just moronic. See, if Skinny Puppy tried to make music that sells, they would probably fail. Because that's not what they're good at.
Don't get stuck up on the false integrity. Everyone makes music to sell it, even though few started out that way.
