Man! go to the post office there's a bus stop there. No money for cab but have digicam.
1000 yards is Spenard Lake hit up a canoe.
Go to Earthquake Park you can see downtown from there and surf your way there on the mudflats.
I have a musher friend that lives by Turnagain area he can sled dog you downtown.
Otherwise find a moose to ride it's free!

At that time I just really wanted to go home. I was out there for a job interview and I didn't even know where the bus stop was because I took a cab out there in the first place. I was really just in all essence lost and frightened. LOL. :-)
