How to install ClockWorkMod V4.0.1.5 on your MID7127

In this video I show you how to install ClockWorkMod Recovery (CWM) on your Coby Kyros MID7127.

CWM is used to make a backup of your tablet as it is now. That way if you ever flash anything and you get stuck in a bootloop, you'll be able to restore to a spot where you were in the past.

YOU MUST HAVE USB DEBUGGING SELECTED FOR ADB TO WORK!

Download this Update.zip - http://bit.ly/tEDXHO - and put it in the root of your sdcard. (sdcard/tflash)

If your having driver issues, these Motorola drivers did the trick for me:

Any experience with the 8127? I assume its the same keys that are enabled for recovery (volume rocker)? Just curious because screen size seems like the only difference, but i am finding root/custom rom info for the 7127. Just ordered the thing, so trying to get the lay of the land before i get it and unleash hell, haha

Really have to do your homework when learning how to do all this stuff. Realize if you dont have the pieces to make this work (ADB, SU, SDK ECT....) the coby can get screwed. I need to start charging locals on craigs for my service.

hi my friend i have a seruly problems whint my coby i dont know whats happen but i tray to put a costum roms and evething was fine i did by clockmod and i think is no good roms for this thablem and now and can do any think because wnen i turn on the tablet only say with blue letlers a massens " this divice enterfastboot mode, please conecct usb to pc or reset the device waittting.......... i seset but natthing please help me or make a tutoria with sdk how to do that thank youuu

@thekwa - doh. I put it in the /sdcard/ and not /sdcard/tflash/. That fixed it. Just a case of knowing enough to be dangerous and not listening to your video intently before proceeding.

I've rooted and installed the Android market following your videos. But when I try to install the Clockworkmod update.zip file it does not install. Below is the response after the initial reboot to load the update, between the "".

"Finding update package...

Opening update package...

Verifying update package...

Intallation aborted."

I've reloaded the update.zip but no change. The md5 checksum of the update.zip is 2499653e4664227331f68b96e992fd­13
