Handles some of those tones better than a number of subsequent synths. Totally usable patches.

Classic keys is a specialized module so no, its not general midi you have to map the sounds manually, also it doesn't have every sound general midi has, but it has a wider selection of specialized sounds.

Is that general midi compatible? Meaning, if I have a computer program playing 8 tracks with 8 different instruments, will this module recognize what instrument it's supposed to play for each track, as told by the computer program?(Sibelius, in my case)

yes but the nord rack is too expensive#1 the nord rack most importantly has limited tracks.the emu has 16 tracks#2 the emu is an all around module that can produce anytype of music.the nord rack is just a synth#3 where's your drums in the nord? LMAO#4 etc.etc.

This i sreally bad mate.. Emu are so out of date. The Nord rack is much better tha any of this stuff. How old is the module? Let you off it's over 10 years old... lol

Yeah its not the best, not the worst either though. just put it up cos i was selling it on ebay and the guy wanted to hear it. Not really comparable with a Nord rack?
